News from Javett-UP
23 March 2026
Register your child (ages 7–15) and let their creativity shine during school holidays!
Running from 29 March to 02 April 2026, this first term’s edition is centered on Javett-UP’s new exhibition ditšwatšhemong by Tshwane-based artist Cow Mash. ditšwatšhemong, translated as “they come from the field / the origins of the land,” speaks to lineage, source, and belonging. Through sculpture, drawing, textiles, and intergenerational storytelling, participants will discover how everyday materials and powerful metaphors can express who they are and where they come from.
A special twist awaits on DAY 1, Sunday, 29 March 2026. Parents and guardians are invited to join the kids for an inspiring intergenerational programme with Cow Mash, from 1pm - 5pm. Your child’s ticket covers entry for both of you.
